Do Dooni Char brings back the sparkling real life couple Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor on the silver screen after a hiatus. But, the question is, is it a comeback worth notice or a passé? Well, one statement says it all- Welcome back Rishi & Neetu! As far as the movie is concerned, it' s a delight! Rating: *** (Above Average)

Remember Anand? Yes, the same Hrishikesh Da movie that inspires and mesmerizes us till today because of the utmost simplicity it was told minus all the hiccups most of the movies carry around today.

Yes folks, it was Hrishikesh Mukerji' s simplicity with what he used to tell stories soaked with humors revolving around common man.

Such was his superb ness of enacting real life situations with élan that all the film fraternity still craves for him.

Cut to the concern we are talking about, Do Dooni Char is a movie that stars yesteryear' s charming couple Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor can well be passed off as a movie having stamp of none other than Hrishikesh Mukerji.

Helmed by the debutant director Habib Faizal, Do Dooni Char is a simple story soaked with right ingredients that makes it altogether a delightful watch.

Final word? The life of simple people is presented in the most extra-ordinary way. It' s often said that good things come in small packages and same can be said for the movie too. Do Dooni Char is a simple yet prolific gem not to be missed. Recommended!

Let' s scrutinize the basic story of this simple yet remarkable movie that' s stands in the era of movies that comes with their share of hiccups in the words of Taran Adarsh

Life can be tough for a man who teaches at a school for living, lives in a tiny flat in Delhi and is coping with the double digit inflation rates and single digit increments in his salary. Add to that, a teenage daughter, a fast-track son and a wife who loves the good life. The life of the Duggals is passing by in simply taking care of the basics. Until one day, they decide to dream.

Their ticket to dreaming comes in the form of a wedding invitation. What follows is a journey of chaos, realizations, calculations, confrontations and bonding. This crazy Duggals will fight it out at home [and the neighborhood] for what they think is a ' good buy' for the family: a four-wheeler.

Do Dooni Char works for a number of reasons. One among them is its tight and interesting script that revolves around real-life situations that have been presented with utmost simplicity of élan.

Desperately vying to keep in possession of a scooter, the story churns around most convincingly and each character only enhances the effect to a soothing level, making the experience of watching the movie, a worth wile experience!

Special mention of praise for the individual stories of two kids! Master Stroke!

The movie comes sans hiccups but like usual there are some moments that would raise eye brows. Moreover, the conclusion of the flick carries a strong message and that' s what makes all the difference.

It would be a sin not to put heaps of praise on the first time director, Habib Faizal who treats and executes the movie like a veteran. His writing is his high point and managing the overall thing importantly is top notch.

Even the songs are smartly put at the right places and do not look forced in the narrative, with the title track topping the chart.

Talking of the performances from the leads of Do Dooni Char, Rishi Kapoor is the ultimate soul of the movie and delivers a crackling performance. The veteran actor has delivered an incredible performance in the past and no wonders his portrayal in Do Dooni Char stands at par with those earlier spunks.

Neetu Kapoor is admirable and being a complete natural actress, adds so much to a scene which must say had fallen haywire if other one would have been at her shoes!

More than anything else, it' s the cracking chemistry they share to be carried home and yes it was a refreshing change to see this magnificent couple on the silver screen after a hiatus. We want more!

The kids Aditi and Archit are brilliant in a brief cameo. Akhilendra Mishra as usual is exceptional. Supriya Shukla is superb.

On the whole, Do Dooni Char is a decent outing not to be missed!

From the box-office point of view, Do Dooni Char faces a stiff competitor in Emraan Hashmi' s Crook- Its Good to Be Bad and a mythological animation film called Lav-Kusa and not to forget Robot, which is still going great guns.

Rating: *** (Above Average)

Verdict: Do Dooni Char is for you if you like movies that say a simple story the most extra-ordinary way!
